Our mission is to provide a space where every child can feel like they belong, have their strengths recognised and the appropriate wrap around support to manage the challenges they face. We believe that parents and families need a supportive, non-judgemental community space where they can relax and feel empowered to navigate the hard and messy that is so often life.
We prioritise individualising every session to maintain engagement that ensures best outcomes through manageable steps that make lasting differences, no matter the goal. Our crew here operate as a genuine team through collaboration to ensure each person that comes into our space is accessing the most appropriate, highest quality possible intervention for them.
Our service is a human centred, trauma responsive practice prioritising healing centred engagement, with emphasis on strengths, culture, identity and collective healing with whole of organisation responsibility and consumer- led practice.
Through manageable steps and wrap around support, we empower individuals and families, promoting long-term growth, well-being, and meaningful change in a safe, compassionate, collaborative environment.
Our Services
Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Our paediatric occupational therapy program helps children develop the skills necessary to lead happy and productive lives. We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, emotional regulation and social skills.
General Counselling with Jenny
Jenny has extensive experience working with at risk youth to develop the skills to manage life's challenges with confidence and the emotional skills they need to transition to adulthood.
Early Childhood Play Therapy with Bobbie
Bobbie is highly experienced and effective in improving the social and emotional wellbeing of young children. Bobbie is comfortable incorporating whole family approaches to address sibling dynamics and improve parent-child relationships.

Carlen brings more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of needs, he approaches each person uniquely to ensure high quality person centred intervention.
Here at KATS, he offers clinic based assessment & therapy where he focuses on support to make the transition through adolescence into Adulthood smooth through meaningful occupation.
